It arrives at your door
1 day or 2 days after dispatch, depending on your prefecture.
When does dispatch happen? Orders before 12:00 PM JST dispatch that same day. After 12:00 PM (or on a closed day), dispatch is the next business day. Your arrival estimate counts from the dispatch day, not order time.

2How shipping cost is calculated

Fixed-size boxes — no maximum order size.

Your total weight is packed into boxes of the size that matches your cart. More weight = more boxes, priced accordingly.

Example: 35kg of dry-only goods = 2 boxes, so 2 × the dry rate. A 3kg order still pays for 1 full box — minimum charge is always one box.
Any chilled/frozen item means your whole order ships as one chilled/frozen shipment — dry items travel in the same cold-chain box, not a separate parcel. The 19kg box and chilled/frozen rate apply to your entire order’s weight, not just the frozen items.

1How your order gets to you

Every order follows the same simple path, from checkout to your door.

We start preparing it right away. When it actually leaves our warehouse depends on what time you ordered — see below.

We dispatch it to Sagawa Kyubin
Your whole order is boxed and handed to our courier on the dispatch day — see Section 2 for how it’s boxed.
STEP 03
It arrives at your door
1 day or 2 days after the dispatch day, depending on your prefecture.
When does dispatch actually happen? Orders placed before 2:00 PM JST are dispatched that same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM — or on a day our warehouse is closed — are dispatched the following business day instead. Your delivery estimate (1 day or 2 days, from the table further down) is always counted from the dispatch day, not from the moment you clicked “order.”
Paying by bank transfer (furikomi)? The 2:00 PM cutoff is based on when we receive your transfer, not when you place the order. If your payment is confirmed before 2:00 PM, we dispatch that same day. If it’s confirmed after 2:00 PM, dispatch moves to the following business day — so please transfer promptly if you’d like same-day dispatch.

2How shipping cost is calculated

We ship in fixed-size boxes — no maximum order size.

Your order’s total weight is packed into boxes of the size below that matches what’s in your cart. The more it weighs, the more boxes it needs, and the price scales accordingly.

Chilled / frozen box

per box — used whenever your order includes any chilled/frozen item
Example: ordering 35kg of dry-only goods needs 2 boxes (0–29kg, then 29.01–58kg), so you pay 2 × the dry rate for your zone. A 3kg order still pays for 1 full box — the minimum charge is always one box, however small the order.
If your order includes any chilled or frozen item, your entire order ships as one chilled/frozen shipment — dry items in the same cart travel in the same cold-chain box rather than being split into a separate dry parcel. The 19kg box size and chilled/frozen rate apply to your whole order’s total weight in that case, not just the frozen items. For example, 25kg of mixed dry and frozen goods together is charged as one 19kg-bracket box (25kg needs 2 boxes: 0–19kg, then 19.01–38kg) at the chilled/frozen rate — not as separate dry and frozen charges.

4Free delivery on larger orders

Once your order total reaches ¥12,000, delivery gets cheaper — or free — depending on where you’re located.

Example: a ¥15,000 order to Osaka ships free. The same ¥15,000 order to Hokkaido ships for a flat ¥600, regardless of how many boxes it needs. Orders under ¥12,000 everywhere still use the standard rate table in Section 3.

5Payment method fees

Your payment method can add a small service fee — bank transfer never does.
